Project Runway Canada 2009 Designers and Premiere Date Announced 
Project Runway Canada is back for it's second year, premiering on Global TV (with encore presentations on the SLICE network) on Tuesday, January 27.
Hosted by ex-supermodel Iman, the show will see 14 designers battle it out to be named top designer in Canada and nab a cash prize ($100,000), a spot at L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto, and a spread in Elle Magazine. After an incredibly popular and successful season last year, which saw designer Evan Biddell triumph, anticipation is high for the new series to begin airing.

- Brandon R. Dwyer, Barrie
- Camille Prins, Toronto
- Christie Clayton, Vancouver
- Danio Frangella, LaSalle
- Genevieve Graham, Vancouver
- Jaclyn Murray, Winnipeg
- Jason Meyers, Hamilton
- Jeff MacKinnon, Toronto
- Jessica Biffi, Toronto
- Kim Cathers, Vancouver
- Margarita Voultsos, Montreal
- Sunny Fong, Toronto
Designer Brian Bailey will reprise his role as mentor on the show, and a slew of celebrities will appear as well:
Actress Elisha Cuthbert, fashion model Coco Rocha and designer Wayne Clark will be among the celebrity guests appearing on the new season of "Project Runway Canada."
Meanwhile, Elle Canada's Rita Silvan and Bustle Clothing's Shawn Hewson will return as resident judges as the show moves from Toronto to Ottawa.
