We disembarked at the Mountain Station at the elevation of 8,516ft/2597m. Clear and crisp air was the first thing we noticed. Snow was all around us. The temperature was in the fifties (F) but most pleasant even in a t-shirt.

The intro text is from the original article: "We disembarked at the Mountain Station at the elevation of 8,516ft/2597m. Clear and crisp air was the first thing we noticed. Snow was all around us. The temperature was in the fifties (F) but most pleasant even in a t-shirt." . How shoud it be done properly?

Pay no attention to nitpickers, even those who point out misspellings of "should" etc.  I also enjoyed the aerial ascension at Palm Springs, having gone up last October.  The article didn't mention the especially nice restaurant at the higher level, with outside tables for viewing the spectacular valley below.  Our little bottles of Chardonnay were priced at only $4 US, so there was no attempt to gouge us.

The rotating tramcar was made in Thun, Switzerland, which has the only other such enclosure -- see:
