A result of the H1N1 scare is that cruises that were originally bound for Mexico have been showing up in San Francisco instead. For the past month or so there's been a fairly steady stream of cruise ships disgorging tourists onto Fisherman Wharf. They usually arrive early in the morning and depart by late afternoon.
I happened to catch a Royal Caribbean ship cruising under the Golden Gate on its way somewhere after having spent the day in San Francisco. It's the Mariner of the Seas.
