Sarah Palin is unhappy with her recent Newsweek magazine cover shot. Palin took the athletic photos for a cover shoot with Runner's World Magazine and said they were innapropriately used on Newsweek. She would have prefered a more sophisticated look as well as caption. The caption reads "How Do You Solve a Problem like Sarah?" Maybe its not the best press for someone who has just released a book. Information on her book Going Rogue: An American Life.
This is Sarah Palin's responce to the magazine cover:
"The Runner's World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context."
Sarah Palin was also recently on Oprah. Information on that is available here.

I thought she looked great in rubber boots.

I'm gunna take the magazine's side on this one. Hardly risque cover, part of her charm is her looks, there is no campaign going on (tho that didn't seem to matter a year ago). She does pose a dilemma. Seems fair. Still won't buy the rag, but that's because i don't like it.

Screw Newsweek. They are nothing but a socialist-loving hack sheet bundled into an excuse for a news magizine. I would believe the National Enq. over this trash.
