Schlossbeleuchtung Heidelberg 2008

A collage of two exposures. Unfortunately the "fire" in the castle and the firework were not at the same time, so I had to use a digital trick to combine both. For good firework pictures the chosen viewpoint, (a bit like Matthäus Merian had it in 1693) with an overview of Heidelberg including the "old bridge" (Alte Brücke) and the castle, was a bit too far away from the firework however it still gives a nice impression. You see two pictures superimposed:
