People started lining up early this morning outside of the new H&M store in Vancouver. The new flagship store is located in Pacific Centre and is the largest H&M store in Canada occupying 28,660 square feet.

It's not just about being the first inside the store. The first 250 people in the line will also receive gift cards with a value between $10 and $200 dollars.

Inside the store shoppers will find a large selection of clothes for all ages with the latest in summer fashion.

$200 is, like, 40 pairs of earrings.

Wow thats great, unless you cannot get parking, then it Blows big time! Too bad they didn't put it out in the Burbs where parking is plentiful.  Guess I'll have to saunter over at lunch time next week and check it out. I am a sucker for a bargoon.

I still haven't checked out H&M, though my more worldly friends tell me they have good stuff. Although I've also heard it's priced cheap because it is cheap--not meant to last more than a season. That part doesn't appeal to me so much...I get attached to things easily.

ianivs, I like this story. It's good stuff. Hey my GS is working now!

Anyhoo, if what you say Rob is that it is cheap, thus disposable if only lasts a season, beware of Suzukittes, who may storm the store with their own seasonal Brand of ECO Carbon Footprint, yadda, yadda Fashion sense!

Yeah i've found their quality kind of cheap... I heard so much hype about it before H&M came to coquitlam center and was let down when I went there for the first time.. Maybe the one in Vancouver will be better.

The cloudy and blue sky of evening was reflected in chrome base so I was interested to the contrast between blue and red not to H&M particularly.
