Sofia Vergara Talks Modern Family, Dressing for Her Curves

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Sofia Vergara was spotted at "Good Morning America" earlier today (September 21). 

The Colombian stunner chatted about the Season Premiere of her hit show "Modern Family" as well as their 5 big Emmy wins over the weekend. 

"We had such a great year. It's a pleasure to work all together and to be in a show like that… and to able to win every year!" 

During her visit to GMA Ms. Vergara also plugged her new clothing line, a joint effort with Kmart. "It's been a dream that I've had for many years. I've been in the entertainment business… the Latin market for 20 years, and I've always had the girls come to me and ask my advice about clothing… I said, 'It's a great idea to have a little side business and to be in touch with my fans.'" 

Always a draw anywhere she goes, Sofia Vergara turn heads as she hit the red carpet of the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 18). 

The model/actress looked immaculate in a custom coral Vera Wang gown with draped chiffon and tulle for the annual event. 

Meanwhile Sofia's ABC hit "Modern Family" swept the show, taking home top honors in each of the five of the categories it received a bid, including Julie Bowen's capture of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy series, Ty Burrell as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Director for a Comedy Series and the coveted overall title of Best Comedy. 

Outside of her popular TV gig, Sophia Vergara is currently featured in Vanity Fair's October issue where she shows off her eye-popping assets in a number of sexy poses and ensembles. 

Despite Angelina Jolie being on the cover, it's the Colombian beauty who steals the magazine's spotlight with her eye-popping pictorial. Inside the October issue, 39-year-old Sophia can be seen sprawled on a chaise lounge in a pale pink dress. 

Vergara, a native of Barranquilla, Colombia, recently told USA Today that she's wisened up when it comes to dressing for her voluptuous figure. 

" In my 20s, I would have on a miniskirt and the boobs, " says Vergara. 

"Now, if I'm doing something short, I try to cover up [on top]. I'm almost 40, so I had to evolve; it's natural." 

"I don't do tight and short. I do tight and long." 

When Sofia isn't busy on the set of "Modern Family," she picks up gigs with companies like Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl and Kmart. 

In other career news, you will see Miss Vergara in the upcoming Gary Marshall flick, "New Year's Eve" as well as the Farrelly brothers' reboot of "The Three Stooges." 

The third season of "Modern Family" premieres Sept. 21.
