Stars of HBO's "True Blood" Spice Up Season Five Premiere
Gathering together to celebrate the premiere of their fifth season, stars of HBO's "True Blood" attended the Hollywood, CA debut screening of their hit TV series on Wednesday (May 30).
The show's stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Joe Manganiello and Sam Trammell got all glammed up for the big event, which was held at the Arclight Cinerama Dome.
New to the vampire-filled red carpet and to the sexy series is 10-year-old newcomer Jacob Hopkins who recently gave Fearnet a sneak peek into what you can expect from his character saying, "My character is named Alexander Drew, and he is part of the Authority. I'm basically a troublemaker. I am described as an "impetuous vampire who likes to taunt others," also adding, "He is wise and feisty, strong-minded. But if you wanna talk Authority, I've got authority! I get to talk to the big guys - I'm that important."
With less than two weeks to go, "True Blood" is gearing up for Season Five with a newly-released teaser trailer.
The 1:21-clip gives fans some questions to ponder ahead of the June 10th premiere, including how vampire Russell Edgington was exhumed, and whether or not Anna Paquin's Sookie is the angel of death.
Throughout the trailer, there's plenty of intensity, drama, and action, all pointing to the reality that Season Five is going to be killer!
With actors Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Joe Manganiello all returning to fill their respective roles, a synopsis reads: "'True Blood' takes place in the not-too-distant future, when vampires have come out of the coffin, thanks to the invention of mass-produced synthetic blood that means they no longer need humans as a nutritional source."
