A few days ago I made the announcement of The State of the Curvy Community Panel Discussion.  Today there are a few updates to talk about as well as Full Figured Fashion Week itself.  The first announcement regarding the panel discussion is that as of last night it is officially SOLD OUT!  What makes this amazing is that it comes on the heels of the reports that plus size fashion is becoming harder to find because of low demand.

This important discussion panel which I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of with ladies such as Mia Amber, and recently confirmed Emme is timely and shows the importance of what we all in the plus size community are trying to do in order to spread the word about the different aspects of the plus size community.  Gwen Devoe and Devoe Signature Events are helping us make history.  As a blogger I am glad that I have been given the opportunity to be a part of such an important event.

The discussion panel also makes the post Why You Should Ignore The Recent Plus Size Fashion Reports and 100 Plus Size Fashion Merchants and Designers more relevant becuase we in the plus size community are seeing things from a totally different perspective than the mainstream media.  The bias against us is the reason that Full Figured Fashion Week was started and the reason that the Curvy Collective was formed.  All of the members bring a unique perspective to our particular niche with the goal of helping the entire community.
