Store closing

Last day yesterday for Woolworths in Exeter Guildhall shopping centre, Devon, England. The end of an era!

The English branch of the originally Pennsylvania-founded Woolworths stores, F W Woolworth Co Ltd, founded by Frank Woolworth in Liverpool, England in 1909 and separate since 1982, closes the last of it's 800 UK stores next week - one of the first victims of the recession.
