Thunder Over the Boardwalk - East Coast Air Show
One of the last East Coast air shows, of the 2009 season, takes place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, August 19th from 11:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Billed as "Thunder Over the Boardwalk" the event is sure to rock the crowd as the a number of high performance jets and aerial acrobatics teams take to the air.
Featured this year are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, Air National Guard, Navy, Marine and Coast Guard demonstrations as well as the New Jersey State Police and civilian precision flying teams. The flying demonstrations will take place over the water in front of the beach and boardwalk. Best of all the exhibition is free. If you want to assure yourself a good seat the Flightline Club is providing premium seating on a first come, first reserved, basis. For $20 you get a seat on the beach, a hamburger or hot dog, a drink and chips. To take advantage of the seating call 609-646-2292 extension 25.
The Borgata, Hotel and Casino Spa is the main sponsor of this event in a community partnership with the Greater Atlantic City Chamber, 177th Fighter Wing of the N.J. Air National Guard, South Jersey Transportation Authority, William J. Hughes FAA Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, David Schultz Airshows, the City of Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority.
If you enjoy precision flying, and seeing some of the world's most sophisticated flying machines, like the B-2A Stealth bomber, F-22 Raptor and F-16 Hornets then you should plan on attending. If you're into the classics like the P-51 Mustang, then don't miss this opportunity to see the world's only precision P-51 aerobatic team.
Be sure to take a hat, sunscreen, ear plugs, water, and of course a camera. We would like to see your photos of the event posted on NowPublic.

I haven't seen any on the lists of attendees yet. At the May Air Show, at Andrews AFB, there was a Russian MiG, operated by Red Bull, that was really loud and put on a good show. Here is a link to that plane. MiG 1

Nice picture gallery. I like performance and acrobatic F-22. That my favorite plane.
