Trick or Treat Time = After Dinner. Why Are You Even Googling This?

Depending on where you live, it may already be dark when trick-or-treat time starts. Maybe it will be dusk. Either way, a good rule of thumb is that trick or treat time starts after dinner on Halloween.

If you're a child and you're reading this, then A) don't try to trick your parents into serving dinner at 4pm, since none of the houses in your neighborhood will be ready for you yet, and B) we're glad you didn't end up on any of our seedier celebrity stories.

Think of movies like E.T. and Halloween (both the original and the Rob Zombie version). When did the kids go trick or treating? After dinner. That said, no other aspect of Rob Zombie's Halloween should you try to emulate.

If you're a parent, relax. As of this post, you still have several minutes to throw together a last-minute costume.

Seriously, though, you shouldn't be googling "trick or treat times" to begin with, but, since you did, we've got your back. Also, make sure that you cross the street at corners and crosswalks, and that you have a flashlight with you. If you see any werewolves, don't feed them. It never ends well.
