MUSSOORIE, 31 Mar: The Drinking Community of the hill town was seen converging at the liquor shops to buy cheap liquor as it was the last day of current Financial year for the contractors. After this fresh tenders are to be called and the shops allotted via lotteries. The liquor consumption increased as large crowds were seen in all shops in Mussoorie. Raj a carpenter in Mussoorie said that he was taking two bottles toady instead of one. Hearing the news that liquor was going cheap for the day, teenagers also lined up for the timely purchase. The contractor said that they would get the same shop for the next year too if they were lucky. The sale was at the peak today.
