Victoria's Secret Adds Five New Angels to Replace Pregnant Models
Lingerie Mecca Victoria's Secret has added five new 'Angels' to the roster of runway models for their upcoming annual fashion show after a number of the brand's big-name 'Angels' have announced their pregnancies. Although Victoria's Secret never officially admitted to enlisting new models as a means of replacing their now-preggers 'Angels', it just seems like too much of a coincidence with Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, just giving birth to daughter Lou and currently pregnant respectively, taking a break from modelling for the time being.
The lingerie retailer held a countrywide search with open casting-calls popping up all over giving ten girls between the ages of 18 and 30 standing 5'8" or taller the opportunity participate in the televised Angel Booty Camp with the winner strutting her stuff down the catwalk at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
So without further ado, the latest models to join the ranks of Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, and Alessandra Ambrosia are: Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chanel Iman
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show hosted by Heidi Klum airs November 19, 2009 on CBS.
