With its 10km in length, Lang Co Beach bordered a section of the National Highway No1A, nearly Hai Van Pass, and 24km from Bach Ma Area.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem has pledged favourable conditions for Lang Co bay in central Thua Thien-Hue province to soon become a member of “The World Most Beautiful Bays” club.

The deputy PM made the commitment while receiving the club Secretary General Bruno Bodard, who is on a fact-finding tour to Vietnam from March 30-April 8.

The club secretary general spoke highly of Vietnam’s planning work and the potential of the Lang Co bay.

On the occasion, the National UNESCO Committee and the Thua Thien-Hue People’s Committee have launched a campaign to back Lang Co bay’s effort in joining “The World Most beautiful Bays” club, a non-governmental organisation.

Lang Co is expected to become the 30th member of the club. Vietnam already has two representatives in the club, Nha Trang Bay and Ha Long Bay.
