Subprime Mortgage Refinance Fiasco

Currently my girlfriend and I are caught up in the mortgage fiasco surrounding New Century Financial which is the parent company of Home123 who she is trying to refinance through.

Unfortunately our fiasco began back in November of 2006 with Beneficial in Olympia WA. and we are still trying to get out of the mess as result of dealing with them (will post more on that later).

Has anyone else experienced any drama personally from the fallout of New Century Financial or the other sub prime lenders due to trying to refinance? If so I would love to hear your stories as well.
