The 2006 sun run was a run of "firsts." It was a record breaking
run. It was the first time over 150 school teams participated. It was
the first time over 50-thousand people participated. And it was the
first time the winner was disqualified and then won the gold back on an
appeal. Vice president for the Vancouver Sun Jamie Pitblado explains
what happened.
