Surrey tent city sends business fleeing

A Surrey businesswoman is blaming the city for a rash of break-ins and thefts at her packaging business after a tent city for the homeless was moved to a vacant lot next door a few weeks ago.

Sendip Gill told CBC Radio on Monday that 30 to 40 homeless people were moved from the Whalley baseball park before the Canadian Little League Championships.
