Buffalo plane crash

A 78-seater passenger plane has crashed into a house in Buffalo, New York State. Continental Express flight 3407, operated by Colgan Air, came down in Clarence Center, about five miles from Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

50 people were killed in the crash: 45 passengers, four crew and one person on the ground.

The plane, a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, was flying between Newark Liberty International Airport and Buffalo.
