Canada election results 2008

On October 14, 2008 Canadians voted in the 40th federal election. Incumbent Prime Minister Stephen Harper had been hoping to win a majority government, but instead was handed a second minority mandate. Elizabeth May and the Green Party were the big losers of the night, completely shut out of the new government. Tag your stories "Election results" to have them appear here.
