Honduras

Located in the eastern part of Central American, Honduras is a democratic republic that has seen its fair share of unrest. In 1963, democratically-elected president Ramón Villeda Morales was overthrown by a military coup. More than 45 years later, the Honduran government was upended by another military coup, this time overthrowing democratically-elected president Manuel Zelaya.
