Tornado

A tornado is a rotating column of air, which is in contact with the earth and a cloud at the same time and is often violent in nature and causes lots of damage. It can pick up a lot of debris as it turns on the earth and some can have wind speeds of up to 100mph. However, there have been some recorded that have wind speeds of 300mph.
Most tornadoes occur in the United States.
