Woodstock Anniversary

The Woodstock Music Festival took place August 15-17, 1969. While the promoters lost their shirts, over half a million music fans braved 20-mile-long traffic jams to rock out to Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Sly & the Family Stone, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Greatful Dead, and many more. There was mud. There was nudity.

Some people even got stoned.

And a legend was born. Of course, if everyone who says that they were at Woodstock were actually there, then attendance would have been something like 7 million.
