Yemen Airline Flight 626, an A310 Airbus, has crashed near Comoros in the Indian Ocean. 153 people were on board the flight that went down June 30, 2009. A partial passenger list and list of the nationalities of those on board has been compiled from media reports.
At least one survivor of the Yemen Airline crash has been confirmed, although conflicting reports describe that person as both a 5-year old boy and a 14-year old girl. There are also unconfirmed reports of additional survivors from Flight 626, including one who has been identified as the flight captain Khaled Hajeb.
This is the second major plane crash in a month. On June 1, 2009 Air France Flight 447 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean en route from Rio De Janerio, Brazil to Paris, France.
All 228 on board Flight 447 perished in the crash. A complete passenger list for that flight has still not been released, although partial passenger lists have been compiled from media reports.
