NowAl Jazeera has got it english channel.

"Al Jazeera, the Arabic television news channel, begins airing its 24-hour English-language service today in a bid to compete with Time Warner Inc.'s Cable News Network and the British Broadcasting Corp.'s BBC World.

Al Jazeera English will be broadcast to 40 million households worldwide, with coverage reflecting its Middle East ``heritage and perspective,'' and taking advantage of the channel's ``unique access to some of the world's most troubled and controversial locations,'' the company said.
