Tara Conner gets rehab, Deryk Andrew Schlessinger gets silent privilege, Katie Rees dethroned!

All is not equal in the world of underage celebrity. Young Beauty contestants are held to a higher standard than the Army's underaged. Neither Tara Conner nor Katie Rees are known to have arrest records, yet their indiscretions MAKE A HUGE MEDIA BLAST. In an opposite scenario of underage, it appears if your family sells a "family value" & "morals" product (that gets millions of dollars out of believers) there are ways to keep underage arrests quiet. More interesting because in 2006 Laura Schlessinger wrote a column in the floozling Santa Barbara News-Press where she laid all the fault on UCSB parents for their underaged children's bad behavior. She often mentions books and so-called letters to support her point about "liberal" parents AT FAULT! One of her projects are Public Schools. To support her position, she can not fault her "conservative" parenting when she does the same as those she blames. As a young man Deryk came to fame via repetitive harps like "I am my kids mom" and his early career as creative consultant for his mother's magazine, The Dr. Laura Perspective. He was used as a model for the family values venue (excluding his 3 half-siblings). Today the promotion of "action figure" carries on to keep Deryk in world view and promotion with "I'm the proud mother of an American soldier." He is the symbol and example for the promotion of Schlessinger/Bishop family values system that earned them a fortune and helps promote politics. Deryk helped earn the $71.5 million they were paid by Jacor Communications, Inc (Jacor was acquired by Clear Channel Communications in 1998). and he's still a selling point for all the cronies and corporate tenacles. His college years are shrouded in mystery. Schlessinger is more celebrity than radio moralist helper, hence when bad things happen there is celebrity silence. Eventually, they did admit Deryk is a drop out, he was in college one semester. What more did he do all those years? The rumors are abundant. Deryk enlisted in the service in the fall 2004. Schlessinger and son were proud and open. Both gave a public talk about his enlistment. In February 2006 the army arrested seven soldiers in the Fayetteville, N.C. area. Four of the soldiers were not court marshalled. The four were allowed to remain in the Army, their names will not be released. Discrete. They were given a brief detention and demoted. The seven soldier's behavior makes Miss Nevada USA, Katie Rees, look tame when compared. She was photographed, the soldiers are on video. Soldiers have it much better than beauty contestants in the world of public scrutiny. Since the 2006 Army arrests there is a loud silence around Deryk "family value" Schlessinger that churns the rumor mills. "Family values" continues to bring in a huge fortune to pay for the $10,000,000.00 macmansions and lifestyle (and Clear Channel Communications). On the 4 acre oceanview conpound there is plenty of room for Deryk's 3 siblings to visit with their families. Certainly, the Schlessinger PR team will come out and clear up all the concerns and rumors. Schlessinger has a long history of hypocrisy and lies, her comments aren't good enough for some of her long time listeners. People who remember "I am my kids mom". Some feel tricked about the college years. It opens up alot of questions when Schlessinger feigns "top secret". And why are young beauty contestants forced into a brutal media grandstand?
