Comedy is one juice that you wouldn't expect to be able to squeeze out of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings saga. But if Leonard Nimoy can sing about Bilbo Baggins, then we should be allowed to laugh. It's that silly, mock-1950s ditty that opens a new, late-night comedy-slash-musical at the Second City. And creators-slash-performers Paul Bates and Lee Smart wring many a laugh out of our pop-cultural obsession with all things Ring.
