1.6m FIFA 13 Players Registered for FIFA Interactive World Cup
According to FIFPlay, A record breaking 1.6 million FIFA 13 players already signed up for the FIFA Interactive World Cup and it mirrors Europe’s top leagues in more ways than one.
The FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) has just surpassed 1.6 million players participating in the annual tournament. Following the first ever FIWC in 2004, the tournament has grown significantly and in 2010 secured its place in the Guinness World Records as the largest online gaming tournament. This year’s FIWC only kicked-off in October and in just less than three months has attracted a staggering 300,000 more players than participated in last year’s entire event, breaking its own world record.
