Electric cars are better

For what, the land fills have yet to deal with these limited range, minimal infrastructure, eco-disasters.

Ok, ok, ok - electric cars might fine as a short hop, around town car... but when they hit the end-of-life, the batteries are really a problem that has yet to be realized or delt with.

Waste will always be an issue- it's just a matter of how much, and in what form. As for limited range, I'm not quite as worried, since most car journeys are fairly short (in distance, if not in time!), but my pet peeve is build quality: today's cars are like toys compared to their super-durable predecessors.

If these cars get any smaller, we will just have to create a new class of car (ex. SUV, Sedan, Station Wagon, Sports Car, and etc.), the Clown Car!

Or just switch to motorcycles. It's inevitable, really!

(I saw a guy (or girl- hard to tell under all those layers) last week who was bold enough to ride his/her KTM Adventure 990 through Toronto's snowy streets, and don't recommend trying this at home)

At the risk of straying off-topic, here's one electric vehicle I'd be really happy to use, since it would make daily life a lot more like TRON, which is always a good thing.

I could see that thing off-roading ... outside of Phoenix ... over cactus ... and rocks!

The design looks fun but a little impractical. Where does one put his date?

Please, Ed, don't encourage them to destroy more of the desert environment. or any off-roading area.

Actually, at first I didn't really like these odd-looking cars compared to a muscle car. I just realized everything when the fuel issue became tougher.
