Tata Motors, one of the best brand names in India announced its plans to launch Electric Car with 200 KM range by the end of this fiscal. Tata Motors gained global appreciation for the $2500 Nano Car, which will be ready for deliveries in a couple of months. The Electric Car will be built on the Indica Platform and use lithium ion batteries for high energy and power density. People trust Tatas and the rising fuel costs sure will make the electric car from Tata's a grand success.

Any links to the company or reviews of the technology? Also what are the other performance characteristics? Will it only be available in India? If not where else will it be sold?

Thank you for providing that information. Many people are now excited to know more about the details on electric cars. Last March 23, the Tata Group, which is the largest conglomerate in India, headed by Ratan Tata launched the new car called the nano car. It is the world’s cheapest car. The newest model of Tata group, talked about for years, the Nano, is a stripped down affair that retails for about $2,000, so you can get a brand new car for a few online payday loans. The car has no features outside of seats, an engine, and a steering wheel. Customers outside of India are going to have to wait as the safety features of the vehicle are updated to fit standards of foreign markets, so it may end up costing twice as much in the U.S. to own a nano.
