Of course the website (http://www.focuscorporation.com) is bullshit. I've received two variations of this message in the past few minutes. Both times I replied with STOP but got delivery failure messages.
This is the first time in 3 years of using text messages I've received SPAM-type garbage. If this gets worse I will probably discontinue text service. I'm not about to pay 10 cents a piece for junk.
The fucked up part is that a week or so ago, Meghan suggested I look up the number for a new restaurant in town that Beth just got hired at. It wasn't in the phone book and she suggested I call FREE-411 or something. I did, it didn't work for a number, and soon after completing the call I got some bullshit SPAM text. Like joke-a-day kinda thing (I don't think it was that but it was something that screamed "hidden huge charges on your bill at the end of the month.") I texted STOP and got a confirmation that I wouldn't receive anything else.
Now this.
I had never heard of 1-800-FREE-411 before last week but boy I regret it now. Don't use that shit. Fuck your shit up
Also pictured: The piece of shit Motorazr I foolishly went with last week when my old phone died. I didn't want a Razr because I knew they were defective garbage but I believed the salesperson when she said it was the cheapest thing ($200.) Thing shuts off all the time by itself because the battery compartment thing is fucked. I went back Tuesday to get a replacement. Found one, cheaper, and couldn't get it because their entire internal network was down for 3 days in the middle of a work week because they were bought by Verizon, so they couldn't activate it until today. :) Alltel sucks :)
