I have made FULL use of this day today as you can see! I really hope that Detroit can rise again. If you read history, a lot of things that were constructed in Michigan were contributed to this country. Case in point:

The 1st American Automobile
The world's 1st (and smallest) freeway,
The 1st shopping mall,
1st suspension bridge
1st skyscraper (I might be off on those last two)
