Alright, so my original photo was replaced. I was talking with Phatso and we came up with a better idea!
So as you can see, I am wearing two different types of pants/shoes.
On the right (which is actually my left leg crossed over the right one) are the pants and shoes that are a HUGE part of my life. They are my scrub pants and my duty shoes that I wear as a nurse. There is a huge sense of accomplishment that comes with this uniform, and I was super excited to wear it even before I started my education to become a nurse. This uniform brings out many different parts of me. It allows me to be caring, patient, selfless, humble, empathetic, quick thinking, fast paced, organized, confident, sincere, analytical, a sense of humour about things that most would find repulsive, and constantly educating myself (among many other things).
On the left are my jeans and white heels. I love dressing up when I can! I am not much of a girlie girl, and will most of the time put on jeans, a tshirt, a hoodie and some runners. But it sure can make you feel good to dress up sometimes. It allows me to feel confident, attractive (maybe even, dare I say sexy, sometimes), and a sense of independence.
While they are different parts of my life, they do work together to form who I am as a whole.
K, I'm done with the symbolic gibberish now ;)
For fun
