Accenture appoints new CEO

Accenture has appointed Pierre Nanterme as chief executive officer with immediate effect. The company announced in October that Nanterme would become CEO on 1 January 2011, succeeding William Green, who has been Accenture CEO since September 2004 and assumed the additional role of chairman in September 2006, will remain as chairman.
