Matthew Wilson from Kentucky Gets Perfect ACT Score
Matthew Wilson took the ACT exam in February for his college placement, and was surprised to learn that he had achieved what is very rare: a perfect score.
Matthew, who is 16 and a junior at Christian Academy of Louisvilleās English Station campus, was the only student in Kentucky to achieve a perfect score on the ACT exam in February.
In Cincinnati, a student named Brett Shackson scored perfect marks on both the ACT test and the SAT test; he received a score of 2400 on the SATs and a 36 on the ACT.
The ACT test is a college-placement test and is made up of 45 minutes of English, 36 minutes of Reading, 60 minutes of Math and 35 minutes of Science. Your ACT score can help you determine what colleges you can apply for, although not all are concerned with test scores.
According to the Courier-Journal, less than 0.1 percent of students who take the ACT test will score a perfect score.
