Actors give away TV show secrets on Twitter: Heroes cancelled?
There are so many celebrities on Twitter now, that it's hard to keep tabs on them all, but it appears that some actors have been getting in to trouble with their studio executives for tweeting about what is happening on their shows.
Greg Grunberg, who plays Matt Parkman in the very successful series 'Heroes' tweeted on Sunday morning 'Tough to say goodbye to crew not knowing if any or all of us will return next year', which when it was read by his 20,000 plus fans, sent fears through the Internet world that the show was in fact going to be cancelled. However, three minutes later he retracted his message saying the 'show IS coming back' but the damage was already done.
Grunberg also gets feedback from his fans on Twitter after a show airs.
Heroes is not the only cast of celebrities that tweet however. Ryan Seacrest shares secrets on Twitter and even some high profile movie starts like to share their lives with the Twitterverse.
Fans of married actors Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore can keep tabs on their lives without the use of tabloid snaps. On Monday evening, Kutcher wrote that he was "behind the scenes at D's photo shoot" and added a link to a video shoot of the event. While other celebrities include Steven Fry, Harry Potter's Emma Watson and Russell Brand.
It can be addictive as Grunberg has found as he twitters late into the evening. "People are constantly thanking me for being on Twitter," Grunberg said. "I say, 'Thank you.' It's so cool."
