AG, Police Warn Of Driveway Repaving Scams

The Attorney General's Office warned of a paving scam Monday in which crews offer to do work at a great deal and charge thousands more than promised.Police in Nashua announced over the weekend that several senior citizens have already been taken advantage of, identifying a suspect as Joseph Stanley and saying he is going door to door offering to pave driveways. Even if the homeowner isn't interested, Stanley and his crew do the job anyway and demand payment, police said.
