Dubai
Airbus  could win 65%  of the new aircraft orders in from gulf carriers against Boeing.
The LCC low cost carrier market prefers Airbus A320.

Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, said while launching the budget airline, Fly Dubai,  the market for LCC would be enormous.

Fekih said orders and Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) won by Airbus so far this year reached 293 aircraft versus 170 for Boeing. “So far, Airbus has won around 65 per cent of the market share with the regions major airlines placing orders for the A350 XWB and the 21st century flagship A380. By the end of 2008, four A380 will have been delivered to the region.”
