It was only a matter of time before terror groups used the same crowdsourcing strategies as government defense departments. Indeed, Al Quaeda seems to have its own DARPA:

"Senior al-Qaida leaders through a password protected Internet message board periodically ask their loyal readers to send in their best ideas for attacking their enemies," reports National Defense, quoting recent remarks by Rita Katz, of the SITE Institute. Katz claims Al Qaeda gets "thousands" of responses.
Actually, I have a suggestion for them, but it's not really printable here... How many submissions are even plausible, given the lack of chemistry skillz of most would-be terrorists? If the peroxide-bomb attempt in the UK was any indication, perhaps this isn't so much to worry about. also, do they get a lot of spam? I cannot help but wonder about these things.

jordan, I like this story. It's good stuff. if there was a software program with millions of spamware on it, that could be sent to their site, now that would be a Weapon of Mass Destruction for them, when anyone who visits their site, their computer automatically locks up and or destroys the users hard drive.

Jordan, I wouldn't take it to lightly, because any channel of information my contribute some unexpected benefits..even to Al Quada
