Alexa has announced a new ranking system for the web. That after several months now the new Alexa Rankings System is available.
Developing the aspects of gathering data and information about websites, was the major step Alexa made toward the new system, through surveying and questions from the Alexa’s toolbar users who started to see that the internet and website’s popularity is further more than a sign or an indicator on a toolbar.
A huge confusion has already began, as for users who are concerned about the change in their rankings and which is the right rank from the wrong?!!
“The new rankings should better reflect the interests and surfing habits of the broader population of Web users” Alexa has stated, so the old ranking wasn’t wrong, it was only different.
