This story created buzz in the technology and online biz. Many people look forward to what will happen and this opened up the issue about reinforcing the patent law.
A lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware claiming Discovery founder John Hendricks was the one who created the idea of digitizing tv and print content. Although in 2004, he sold the patents for digitizing tv content but not for e-reader patents. Thus making them the latest addition to the growing number of companies and organizations who are unhappy to the existence of Kindle.

Claiming to have invented the digitization of print media is very, very bold, and will be very, very hard to back up. (Surely fax machines did this first?)

Never knew about the Kindle technology before I read this. Interesting stuff.
