A pair of American Electric 'Kurrent's spotted at the Green Car Company in Kirkland, WA. According to the American Electric site, the Kurrent is a neighborhood vehicle (NV), which means it has four wheels and weighs less than 2500 lbs, runs on the same standard electricity you use to operate your household appliances and costs less than 2¢ per mile to operate (five times less than a “fuel-efficient” SUV). In most states Kurrent is approved to drive on streets with posted speed limits of 35mph or less.

I am a auto dealer in NH. I have not been able to contact American Electric about the Kurrent. I would like to offer them to the public. Do you know if they are still in business?
I called the 1-800 # listed on the getkurrent website and it was not longer in services?
