Hailie Jade Mathers, Eminem's Daughter, Joins Twitter? Nope

Hailie Jade Mathers, daughter of Marshall "Eminem" Mathers, is supposedly on Twitter, or so we're led to believe. Her username is @angry_blonde, but her tweets are really... nice. Lots of hang-in-there comments and some famous inspirational quotes, including a quote from Spongebob Squarepants. Alas, we believe that the account is fake.

This story started on Popeater and has been picked up by a few different outlets, but there's no vetting going on, at least not that we can see. A series of posts that would be described as "banal" are suddenly inspiring and mature when attributed to the daughter of one of hip-hop's biggest names.

Meanwhile, @Angry_Blonde has gained nearly 5,000 followers as of this post.

Hailie Mathers is not famous in and of herself (she's only 15), but you may have heard her on some of Eminem's earlier recordings ("I think my dad's gone crazy!"), and so we expect to see imitators on Twitter. Weirdly, Charlie Sheen seemed to be the only celeb or pseudo-celeb not to have a Twitter doppelganger... until he joined the microblog service himself.

Call us cynical, but if someone with any degree of fame is lacking that little blue "verified" checkmark, we aren't buying it. Also, doesn't Hailie Jade go by her mom's last name, which is Scott?

There are actually quite a few fake Hailie Mathers accounts out there. Well, some are fake, some are just other girls and women named Hailie Mathers.

Eminem's own Twitter account is a PR outlet, so no comment from there.

But come on, there's got to be an angry tweet in there somewhere... yes! Here we go:

It's no 50 Cent tweet, but it will do for now. The biggest question, though: how was "Angry Blonde" not one of the first usernames registered? Hard to believe it survived unclaimed until late 2010.
