In a video posted on Youtube, the Hacker group ‘Anonymous’ threatened to kill Facebook on Novermber 5, 2011. Their qualm with ‘Facebook’ is with relation to privacy.

In the video, posted under the username ‘FacebookOps’, the person in the video says, "If you are hactivist or a guy who just wants to protect the freedom of information then join the cause and kill Facebook for the sake of your own privacy," The individual continues on and says,  "we are Anonymous. We are legion. Expect us." "Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your privacy settings, and deleting your account is impossible."

Not knowing what this attack will entail and what ‘Kill’ Facebook means, one has to wonder if this will in fact heart the Facebook user more than Facebook itself. For some, Facebook has become a place to do their business, networking and a tool to stay in touch with family across the globe. For many like those in Egypt, Facebook was a tool that helped overthrow an oppressive dictator and regime.

Some will argue that ‘Anonymous’ could have found better targets. A lot of individuals like myself are not tech savvy enough to understand what the privacy problem is. Some regular friends I had a conversation with felt that ‘Facebook’ is a voluntary site plus its free, why not just avoid joining?

As someone from Zimbabwe, ‘Facebook’ has become a conduit for many us to speak out against the regime. Being such as small country we don’t get to be on CNN or Fox News when a citizen gets murdered or persecuted for their freedom of speeh. Many of us have had family members tortured, killed and social network has become our podium. And so some many feel disrupting ‘Facebook’ may condemn the lives of many Zimbabweans and one would argue the same for Syrians and every other nation using social networking as a tool to organize.

"Anonymous" -- looks like a U.S. security-mil-intel psyop "honeypot" site intended to ferret out those who would support cyber-vandalism... part of an ongoing effort to criminalize speech, to punish Americans for their political speech and not for anything wrong that they have done. In other words, another "false flag op." USG agencies/commands use Lockheed Martin Information Systems to impose draconian censorship on extrajudicially targeted Americans, via overt tampering with their telecommunications and by psyops (psychological operations), says this veteran mainstream journalist:

NOTE: More MALICIOUS HTML CODE found embedded in this page, intended to sabotage comment/link. The Lockheed Martin censorship regime spending YOUR taxpayer dollars -- a fraud and a scandal. NowPublic has become a favored haunt of this fascist censorship operation, I have concluded from a vast preponderance of evidence, which is presented in links that can be found under the link listed above.
