Another Deadline has Been Scheduled for the Foreclosure Fraud Set
Another deadline has been scheduled for the foreclosure fraud settlement with the banks and the state attorneys general; the numbers of the latter has gone down from 50 to 43. This time Tom Miller is serious about getting it done.
Since last March Miller has been trying to get it done. It would free the five mega servicers (Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Bank of America and Ally Financial) from future legal claims regarding servicing of residential mortgages and foreclosures. Individuals could however pursue lawsuit against the. Government prosecutors would be free to initiate legal proceedings against them on matters dealing with loan packaging and securities backed by mortgages.
