@Anywhere Boosh: Bad Twitter Redirect
@Anywhere Boosh Vexes Twitter Users
If you signed in to Twitter and got redirected to "@anywhere boosh", you're not alone. Twitter's redirects are apparently broken (well, more broken than normal, since signin tends to bounce you from current page back to your own account page).
The "anywhere boosh" URL is http://api.twitter.com/p_receiver.html. The "anywhere" API is a tool for integrating Twitter functionality into third-party websites. Apparently it's gone rogue. The anywhere boosh page has no content or theming, not even a Fail Whale.
What do you think "anywhere boosh" means? It sounds like something you'd find in Dumbledore's office. You shouldn't take it back up to your room and play with it, but you do, and Rowling-esque adventures ensue.
What was I talking about? Oh, right, anywhere boosh- I just manually entered the Twitter URL I wanted, and then I was fine. Note that this problem won't strike if you're using a Twitter client such as TweetDeck, Twitroyd, Twhirl, or Hootsuite.
