The invitation-only, “rock and roll themed” Apple conference to take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, is a highly anticipated event of the year, and the online world is abuzz with rumours about the latest Apple “toys” to be potentially unveiled tomorrow morning.

It is expected Apple will shine the light on:

--new iPods possibly enhanced with a digital camera
--giant iPod touch for movies and ebooks
--rumours that the iPod classic could be discontinued
--“tablet-style” devices
--the Beattle-Apple deal that would allow Apple to sell the music of the Beattles on iTunes
--updated iTune software (iTunes 9) potentially integrated with social media networks
--a faster iPhone OS 3.1

It is not clear if Steven Jobs himself will speak at the conference. In January of this year, it was announced that Jobs suffered from hormone imbalance and would take a six-month leave from the leadership of Apple. He subsequently had a liver transplant and was said to have an “excellent” prognosis.
