Apple Press Conference October 4, 2011: Where to Watch Live
Apple iPhone Announcement Live: Video, Liveblog
If you're a fanboy, iPhone junkie, or just Apple-curious, you'll want to tune in to the October 4 Apple announcement at 10am PT/1pm ET, which will see the unveiling of iOS5 and a new version of the iPhone (4S? 5?). If you're an Android user, you'll sit back with your arms crossed and ask, "Yeah, but can you overclock it?"
There will apparently be no "official" video feed for the Apple press conference, but quite a few will pop up before they get taken down. Here's how to follow the October 4 Apple announcement live:
- Live video: Engadget
- Liveblog: MacRumors (Prone to timing out)
- Liveblog: New York Times ("We're all here for iPhone news, but first you have to walk past all this other stuff")
- Slashgear Livecast
[Update: Apple press conference highlights include iPhone 4S and watch-friendly iPod Nano]
Meanwhile, Apple Japan has jumped the gun, briefly pushing the iPhone 4S and revamped iPod Nano live. According to The Next Web, the iPhone 4S will have the same form factor as the iPhone 4, but with a faster processor and 8MP camera.
Tim Cook will be giving the presentation from Apple's Cupertino HQ.
