NP Rank:
Are You Ready For The Black Friday 2011 Blowout?
Will you be part of the 152 million shopping this holiday weekend?
That's what the National Retail Federation is expecting on the turnout of shoppers this weekend. Shoppers will be both online and in the retail store as they try and get the best holiday deals.
Make Sure to Check Your Facebook
The jump in numbers from 138 million last year is not the only thing which is different. Studies show that more people are now using social media to get the latest scoop on the hottest deals for this Black Friday. There is still of course the traditional TV commericals and ad circulars, but Twitter and Facebook are being more used than ever before to get the word out.
Places to Check Out
Here are some retailers who have released information regarding their Black Friday deals:
- Barnes & Noble
- Walmart
- Amazon
- OfficeMax
- Staples
- Costco
- Best Buy
- Sears
- Apple
Walmart and Best Buy will be doing both midnight openings and online ordering before Black Friday for you to get those deals you want before anyone else. Amazon and Apple are also in the online boat as they offer better deals for their stock.
So once again: are you ready for the Black Friday Blowout?
