Axe Cop! Axe Cop is a web comic drawn by a 29-year-old illustrator, based on the stories told by his five-year-old brother. Axe Cop, as the name suggests, is a cop with an axe. His sidekick, Dinosaur Soldier, used to be called Flute Cop until… oh, you just have to read them.

Ethan Nicolle and Malachi Nicolle have become one seriously amazing Internet phenomenon, thanks to Malachi's ability to spin strangely complex tales and Ellison's talent for rendering them both literally and with a dash of added flair.  Axe Cop's website is currently offline due to unforeseen traffic, but the Axe Cop Twitter feed is generating image files of the comics themselves.

I first noticed this series when more and more of my friends started tweeting about it. I took one look and, once my brain recovered, was hooked. Fans of memes and general web weirdness will be hooked as well.

The user interface for the Axe Cop website is a bit hard to get used to, but that's somehow part of the fun. Malachi Nicolle would tell made-up stories to his older brother, who began illustrating the whacked-out tales. When they weren't in the same town, Ethan would ring Malachi on the phone to take down details for the next episode.

It is, as is the case with most web media, a work in progress. I'll end up checking the site again in the morning. Likely during work hours.

The account has been suspended. I am not certain why?

Could be due to excess consumption of bandwidth. This site went from non-existent to meme in under 72 hours.

Yep.  We're switching servers now.  We had an intense rush of visits that made everything explode.  Axe Cop will be back soon.
